"Since 2003 KVINFO has run a volunteer mentoring scheme to help immigrant and refugee women gain experience of Danish society, labour market and workplace.

KVINFO has demonstrated that mentoring and networking are effective methods to assist the overall integration of women with an immigrant or refugee background living in Denmark. This autumn we share our experiences and exchange knowledge with you.

KVINFO's approach to the aim of finding jobs that match qualifications and personal goals has been to develop a programme based on respect for individual needs, on exchange of knowledge and on sharing professional networks. KVINFO’s Mentor Network currently has a national database of around 5000 active participants and is highly acknowledged nationally and internationally.

The conference will offer an international mix of thinkers and doers from the field of immigration, integration and employment. Among others the recognized British scholar David Clutterbuck and Thoranna Jonsdottir from Icelandic finans house Audur Capital. The Icelandic company is making business focused on sustainability, emotional capital and feminine values and have been vastly acknowledged worldwide.
