"The European Social Fund (ESF) is devoted to promote employment in the European Union. The ESF spends over € 10 billion a year across all Member States.
The fund has undergone a comprehensive reform and is primarily administered at grassroots level: the Member States have greater flexibility in targeting ESF resources. The ESF supports the design of training and education systems as well as public services reforms.

The seminar in Milan will, thus, focus on the ESF priorities 'human capital' and 'enhancing access to employment'. The training course will also provide tips for implementation of ESF programmes and sound project management."
